Thanksgiving was amazing, lots of delicious food and drink with amazing friends.

Thanks to Mozaik through MyBlogSpark I had the chance to review the Mozaik "Designing Spaces" service for 8, full 40 piece set of plates and cutlery!

We've eaten on paper plates before and we've have had lots of drinks from plastic cups before at camping and other trips we've made but I have never seen a plastic set like the set we received.

While opening the box, my son told me to be careful as it might break. I hadn't told him it was plastic. It looks like real china and the cutlery looks like silver flatware. It's not until you feel the weight of them you realize they are plastic.

We received the full 40 piece set, serving utensils, platter and bowl.

I took some pictures of the plates and cutlery on the table and yes I had to include Abby as she really, really wanted to show her plate, although she's showing you the back of the plate. The front actually has a nice silver design on the edge.

With Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year just around the corner, this would be a perfect solution if you just don't have enough dinner ware for everyone. For under $10, Mozaik's new Service for Eight kit will help you stop scrambling for extra place settings when your guest list is larger than your plates and cutlery. This 40-piece "party in a box" adds 8 place settings (forks, knives and spoons, salad plates and dinner plates) and could really be used for any occasion.

Fresh Produce Clothing: review

Now that I've lost 53 pounds I've been looking around to get some nice clothes. I've bought some dresses (this for myself who's never worn a dress in her life) and I feel amazing. For me it's very important that the clothes are comfortable and look good.

I was so excited when Fresh Produce Clothing contacted me to see if I wanted to review some of their clothes. Finally a chance to get something in a smaller size than I was before.

They asked me to send them a selection of some of the things I liked on their site and then they would put together an outfit for me. With the weather changing, it's getting way colder outside, I was very pleased with the outfit they send me.

I received the Windswept Zip Hoodie in Oyster (grey) and the Broadcloth Capri in black.

The Windswept Zip Hoodie is made from stretch French Terry (95% cotton/5% lycra) with big pockets and it has big green buttons that decorate the cuffs and pockets. I was wearing this hoodie when we arrived at Great Wolf Lodge last weekend and the person that checked us in actually noticed the buttons, they are a nice accent to this hoodie, makes it stand out. This hoodie really keeps out the wind and is very comfortable to wear! This hoodie is also available in pink, light blue and black)

The hoodie is for sale for $84.

The stretch Broadcloth Safari Capri in black is one of my favorite pants, it fits amazingly well, actually gives me a shape and the capri is very soft and lightweight. These capris are a 97% cotton/3% spandex blend and come in all kinds of colors (clearwater: light blue, sangria: pink, semisweet: brown, etc)

This capri is for sale for $69.

I love darker colors like black, grey, brown but for the Summer I like brighter colors and Fresh Produce Clothing has amazing bright colors in their selection. How cute is this Cafe wrap dress?

I'm a mom of 3 and buying for myself doesn't always come first. I'm so happy I got to review this outfit and will be wearing this for a long time as the quality is amazing. The only negative I can think of is the price but that might just be me. I would rather spend the money on my kids. That has always been that way and it will take a long time to change that mindset I think.

Allowance Manager: review

Are your kids getting allowance every week and you have problems with keeping track of the numbers like me? I now write it down in our calendar every Sunday but sometimes I skip weeks and then I need to backtrack, which takes time. Our kids don't always want their allowance, they want me to keep track of it and then when they want to use it, we pay them.

I was very happy to try out the Allowance tracking system called Allowance Manager.

Allowance Manager is a free tool for parents to manage their child's allowance online. Parents can use this tool to set and monitor children's allowance, create incentives for kids and reward good behavior.

Children can also use this tool to learn how to earn and manage their money.

Allowance Manager is really easy to set up, you create a profile for your kids, how much allowance you give them a week and set the date when they get their allowance (for us this is every Sunday). Allowance Manager then keeps track of the allowance every week. Per child you can update their allowance, you can credit and/or debit for every chore/misbehavior and the system will keep track of them all for you. There's a comment box to add a description to the transaction. So if your child can't remember why the money was taken off, it's really easy to show them why.

Allowance Manager also has a chore chart you can print out for you to use!

I've bookmarked this site and will use this from now on, no more discussions with my kids on if I added/subtracted the right amount of money!

Old Navy tees

I couldn't help but share the following with you. I just got back from Old Navy as I needed to get my little one some more t-shirts. She's growing way too quick!

They have the cutest t-shirts for girls in the store. I was checking out when the girl at check-out asked me if I had seen the t-shirts that smell when you scratch them? Of course I had to go see and got all 3 for Abby, they were only $6 each (for her size, prices differ for different sizes). I got the lollipop (below picture is in yellow, the one I got is aqua), donut and brownie t-shirt, and they really smell like it! I can't wait for Abby to be back from school so I can show her.

Anybody else looking around already for gifts for the holidays? Well, I certainly am.

I have to admit though that it doesn't get any easier with the kids getting older. If you've got younger kids in the family then I can recommend cuddly toys from Aurora to you!

My youngest LOVES stuffed animals and to be honest all 3 of my kids still do, my oldest plays "animals or puppies" with my youngest every morning before school. I'm so lucky, my kids are great!

Abby, my youngest" absolutely adores her older sister Lisa and this is a little routine they've got going with the 2 of them. They're actually playing it now while I'm typing this review, it's adorable. All kids are home from school today and tomorrow, it's great!

Now back to these cute little stuffed animals. We were sent the Pony and the Chihuahua from the Dreamy eyes collection and the Pretty Kitty from the Fancy Pals Pet Carriers collection.

Both the pony and the chihuahua are called Mitch and the little kitty's called kitty Abby.

My little one sleeps with her pony and my son Jamie sleeps with the chihuahua, but they all play together. Now the kitty plays a lot in Abby's room and the little handbag is perfect for snacks in the car. Abby says this is her little handbag just like mom has one.

The first thing I noticed when I opened the box? The big dreamy eyes! I tell you they are amazing and when the pony gets to go to the pool with us, lots of parents talk about the eyes, they really are amazing. I wish I had had a pony with those eyes when I was a little girl!
