====================================================================

As promised here's my very first review/giveaway! I am soooo excited!

Every day I look at several stores on Etsy, it's like window shopping in a giant shopping mall and I stumbled upon Katie's Creations. I just love her store (and so does my oldest daughter Lisa), so I contacted Katie from Katie's Creations to see if she would be willing to participate in a review/giveaway!
Katie was very excited and immediately said yes!
Katie, please tell us a little more about yourself:

I am 36 years old and a busy stay at home mother of four beautiful little girls. They range in age from 1 to 7. Crafting is the thing that keeps me sane. It is the only thing that I can truly call my own.
I work in my studio space almost every night when everyone has gone to bed. I love trying new things and my mind is constantly racing with new ideas. I enjoy spending time with my clan, reading, knitting and catching up with old friends. I love the summer, watching my kids play on the beach and I dread the winter (ughhhh), soon to be upon us!

Katie is also the owner of another store on Etsy called 55mapledesigns.
You really need to go check out both stores! They are great!
Here are some examples:

Katie let me pick out an item in her store, so I let my oldest daughter Lisa pick. So 5 minutes and a coffee later, she finally decided. It was so hard to choose as she loved so many of them.
This is what Lisa picked:

Isn't it beautiful?

So Katie send it over and added a goodie from her other store 55mapledesigns.
Last week both Items arrived and Lisa changed her mind on her favorite, she now loved the other Item more as it has an owl on it. She's been wearing the necklace ever since and it now officially has a name: Owlie!

Katie, again thanks for this!

Now onto the giveaway!
Please head on over to Katie's Creations and/or 55mapledesigns and let us know the following in the comments section:
* what is your favorite piece?
* what other Item you would like Katie to offer in her stores?

The prize?
This beautiful Olive and Blue Lace Flower - Ceramic Tile Pendant!

For extra entries:
* blog about this giveaway, mention your blog in a separate comment with a link to your blog (I will check)
* become a follower of my blog, let me know in a separate comment.
So you can have up to 3 entries for this giveaway!
If you're not a blogger, make sure to leave an email address so I can contact you.
As this is my first giveaway, this giveaway is open to US residents only.

The deadline for the giveaway: 11/16/08 midnight. The winner will be announced on Monday 11/17/08 on my blog, so please check back if you're the winner!
The winner has 48 hours to claim his/her prize, otherwise another winner will be chosen.
Good luck to all!

Katie, thanks for your help with this great giveaway!

Great store and great products. I really like the scrabble hair pins. You have some very unique ideas and I love that they do not cost a fortune. I am really into the musical "Wicked" perhaps you could incorporate that into some of your pieces. Thanks for a great giveaway!

I love the natural look of the maple pendants with tree and flower etchings. In fact, I am going to order four of them for Christmas presents. Thank you!

I like the colors of the season bobby pin set, so cute! I think it would be a cool idea for her to offer keychains.

I love the Personalized - Holiday Burst - Scrabble Tile Pendant. It has a "K" on it and my name begins with K as does my daughter, so that would be perfect for either of us to wear.

Thank you for a wonderful giveaway!

I love just about everything, but the Mahogany Maple Wood Pendant is one of my favorites. I'd like to see more color options on the wooden pendents. Thanks!

I really like the Paisley - Scrabble Tile Pendant! I can't imagine anything more she should add, unless it was more bracelets, cause I love bracelets!

I love the Paisley Mahogany Maple Wood Pendant. She has some amazing pieces! It's very hard to offer an idea of what to add, but maybe scrabble pendants in black and white combos (since they're my fave). Maybe earrings at the 55MapleDesigns store, I'd definitely buy those. Thanks for the chance to enter!

Lots of adorable things in those stores. I love the rings, the pendants, but what I really liked and struck me as really different was the Black and White Series - Mini Flower Circles Bobby Pin Set.
I feel like Katie has a very good selection in her stores, and whatever she might decide to add could only complement her shop.

thanks for sharing

I liked the Sweet Bobby Pin Single Hair Candy. there is a great selection already,
but some headbands would be great to see as well. I'm not sure how practical an idea that is, but it would be great.

I didn't see any products at all in her stores - they were all empty - but from your post, I love the maple owl pendant, the button rings, and the flower hair clips!
