Team mom sent me the Moon Dough Barnyard Play set to review.
Moon Dough is soft and marshmallow-like dough, cleans up super easy and never dries out, so you can use it again and again. Moon Dough is also hypo-allergenic and wheat-free. This play-set retails for $19.99 and is available at the following retailers: Toys'r'us, Target, Walmart, Kmart, Amazon.com, A.C.Moore, Michaels and eToys. The moon dough comes in 8 great colors: blue, green, white, orange, purple, red, pink and yellow.
There are a number of Moon Dough Play sets to choose from: Moon Dough Barnyard, Moon Dough Pizza Shop, Magic Molding Doghouse and Moon Dough Burger Shop.
I can not begin to describe how big Abby's eyes were when we opened the Moon Dough box! She has been playing with her little horses, pigs, chickens and cows for hours on end. You can also make fences and hay bales to go around the farm on the themed play mat that comes with the set.
This farm comes with yellow, blue and white colored dough so you can make the animals in different colors although we're so far ahead already that we have mixed colored horses, cows, etc!
You just put the dough in the top of the farm, turn the handle and out comes an animal!
The moon dough can be picked up easily and whatever falls on the floor can be vacuumed up no problem.
This Moon Dough set is geared for 2 to 4-year olds but Jamie (who's 8) loves to help out Abby with molding her animals. Abby will place her order of animals and Jamie will make them for her, it's cute to see.
This product is a huge success and would make a fantastic birthday or holiday present!
