Whether there was a person ready to catch her or not, she would jump in anyway. Very scary actually, so as soon as we got back home we signed her up for a waterbabies class (where mom and babies swim together) and she has moved up to Tiny tots where she swims with the teacher and the mom sits on the side.
Lisa and Jamie took some pictures of Abby swimming. Did I tell you already she LOVES it?
She swims under water on her own towards the teacher, goes underwater to catch the rings,...
I think we might have another swimmer in the family!

You've got a little mermaid on your hands! Wish I was brave like her. I still can't swim. :P
I found out my 6 year old son was exactly like that last summer when we spent some time near a pool. He would just jump in at the deep end even when no-one was there to catch him. We were running around after him all day scared stiff that we wouldn't get to him in time! He drove us all crazy but at least it was never boring...
