The Slanket: review

I'm sure you've heard of the following Company already but in case you haven't, I want to tell you a little more about my experience with The Slanket.

We have a split level house and when it's nice and warm upstairs it's always cooler downstairs (which is fantastic in the Summer I might add). I read about the Slanket before and wanted to find out for myself what all the buzz was about. I received the Ruby wine Slanket, as seen on the left.
It's a very warm fleece blanket with sleeves. This Slanket
has not only been tested by myself but also Lisa and Jamie had a go and we love it! I think it's perfect for reading as it keeps your arms warm.
I can hear you say, why not just put a sweater on? I agree that's another option but this Slanket just has a different experience, I love to cuddle under a blanket and keep my feet warm and this is all of that in one.

There's several colors to pick from AND they also have kids Slankets.

The story behind the Slanket:
One subzero night in 1998 during my first semester of college I could not escape Maine's winter bite. While watching Late Night with Conan O'Brien I decided I needed to tear a hole in my sleeping bag so I could keep my upper body warm as I channel surfed during the commercial breaks. During Christmas vacation I commissioned the first Slanket to be made by my mother...and it was born.

Everyone behind the The Slanket is on the same level when it comes to life. Besides creating a product to make people comfortable and warm, our life goals are not to accumulate mansions, SUV's, expensive watches and closets just for shoes. What we want in life is to travel the world and experience all its cultures while representing humanity positively. Whether surfing in Costa Rica, snowboarding in Austria, or studying language in South America and China, we love to spread our sleeves and let them flap in the wind, giving back in the process. BUT... there is nothing like coming home, wrapping up in THE SLANKET on your own couch and feeling the warmth of your friends and family.

Do you want to try one out for yourself? Head on over to The Slanket.
The adult size is $39.99, and the kids sizes are $24.99.
We sure love ours!

Thanks Gary for letting me review our Slanket!

Oh, this is so cool, I wish I would have known about this a couple of weeks ago! We just bought my 8yo daughter a Snuggie for her birthday because she had seen them on TV and wanted one "soooooooooo bad!!" But it is gigantic on her because they only come in one size. I love that the Slanket has kid's sizes and I'm going to keep this in mind for Christmas for all 4 of my kids! Thank you so much for the review!
