Skillet bacon spread review

I know, I know. I can hear you say WHAT???
That's exactly what I thought when I had the chance to apply to review this product. My curiosity won and I applied and received the bacon jam.
More info on this jam:
This jam/spread is made with Niman Ranch bacon that is rendered down along with onions, balsamic and other spices. It cooks for hours until it is a perfect blend of smoky, tangy, savory and slightly sweet...basically spreadable bacony goodness! USDA approved.

Sounds crazy, right? Well, we tried it a week ago and we liked it. All 5 of us, so also the kids tried it and it's great on a sandwich with cheese, turkey,...
But this jam can also be used on a burger (actually sounds delicious but we haven't tried it yet), baked potatoes, omelettes,...you name it, you can use it anywhere you want a delicious accent on.
The only negative thing? The little jar it came in was way too small, I hope they will sell it in a bigger jar too.

The story behind...

About 3 years ago, we started a street food company called skillet street food. We focused on creating chef driven food, out of an airstream trailer. One of our signature items was our burger, which was grass fed beef, arugula, brioche, cambozola cheese and Bacon Jam. People started asking us if we sold it, and after a brief period of time we started to sell it on our street food trailer …….

and then martha stewart called and it was bananas after that...
