Scientific Explorer Heavenly Hair kit review

Team Mom sent us a Scientific Explorer Heavenly Hair kit to explore with!
About the kit:
This kit has everything you need to become an expert stylist. You can make your own shampoo and conditioner and includes a hair brush and hair wrap. You'll learn some really cool science that explains why your hair looks the way it does, how it grows , what makes it curly or straight, why it's a certain color and a lot more.
This kit also has great tips from the pros on how to choose the perfect cut and style for your face and hair type.

The instruction booklet includes some experiments which includes the use of baking soda and lemon juice, which we had in our pantry.
The kit is recommended for children ages 8 and older but Lisa (12) worked together with Abby (3) on mixing the ingredients. Abby was holding the brush while Lisa was mixing.
The instructions were super easy to follow and it didn't take very long before the shampoo and conditioner were ready to be used.
Then after all the mixing and working on the experiments, the girls went in the shower and used their newly created shampoo and conditioner and it really works! The shampoo and conditioner actually smells really good!

Scientific Explorer has a number of fabulous spa kits that pamper kids while they learn about chemistry, physiology and physics.
From creating your own shampoo to making lip balm, science never looked so good! Scientific Explorer Kits include: Heavenly Hair Kit, Bath Fizzer Kit, Blissful Body Mist Kit, Lovely Lip Balm Kit and the Shimmer Soap Kit.

The Scientific Explorer Kits are distributed by GiddyUp and retail for $19.99.
