========================
We love to play games in our family and I love the ones that actually make you think about things.
We were sent the game Squiggle by RandomLine to try out and I can tell you this is a whole lot of fun. (although my 8-year old has a small problem with losing :) )
About RandomLine:
RandomLine, Inc. was created in 2002 by a dad who loves to play, John Kiely. His goal is to offer products that encourage children to be creative and use their imagination. No Noise. No Batteries. Simply Imagination is RandomLine’s motto.

While sitting in New Jersey traffic during his hour commute to and from work, he had the idea to create a game based on doodling. He created a prototype of his first game called SQUIGGLE®. Kiely decided to use his12 years of consumer product & packaging development experience and expertise in industrial design to start his own company.

After attending the 2003 American International Toy Fair in New York with his new product, he established his first big customer, Wizards of the Coast. Since then, RandomLine has successfully created and launched a line of games and activity pads that can be found in over 1500 toy stores, gift shops, museums, zoos and aquariums, as well as Canada and Europe.

Kiely receives a lot of support from his two children who help test his products and ideas. Besides helping with testing, his children are his inspiration. Kiely’s wife also assists in the business as she brings over 16 years of marketing experience in the educational publishing industry.

What is SQUIGGLE you ask?
A squiggle is a random line. It can be squiggly, wiggly, wavy or just wacky! It's simply the start of something. A squiggly line may blossom into a beautiful flower, speed off into the shape of a race car or simply form a funny face. It's up to you and your imagination to transform it into something... maybe a work of art!

This game is for the ages 8 and up. Abby, who's 2 was the person to turn over the timer for us!
Squiggle is a team game where players compete to turn a squiggly line into a picture.
Players are given a random line, known as the "squiggle" to start with and have 60 seconds to transform it into something. If your teammate can guess what you drew, your team earns points. The amount of points awarded is based on the difficulty of the squiggle and the uniqueness of the picture created.
There's 3 levels: easy, challenging and mind-boggling. The squiggle scorebook provides a point value for over 1000 pictures and objects. There are some squiggles in the deck that allow for a "second chance" and believe me it's good they are in there. We've used them!
Squiggle is a fun family game and will be sure to keep everyone laughing and creative.

Some other games by RandomLine:

Squiggle has been featured in the Cookies magazine and Today's Parent.

Jamie can't wait for June to come! You want to know why???

It's all about the monsters! He says he'll be way better in drawing these!!!!

John Kiely: RandomLine is the creator of the award-winning Squiggle games and activity pads that encourage children to be creative and use their imagination. Our motto is "No noise. No batteries. Simply your imagination!"
