Ultimate Party Meatballs blog tour

I can't believe we already passed Thanksgiving and are onto Christmas.
Thanks to Mom Central, Heinz and Ocean Spray, I was sent a can of jellied cranberry sauce, a bottle of Heinz chili sauce and a recipe card to try out. I wanted to try out the recipe on Thanksgiving but it was our turn to bring a salad instead of an appetizer so we decided to try out the recipe a couple of days before Thanksgiving.
Jamie picked out the meatballs from the freezer section in the grocery store and told us these were the best (I know, he's funny!)

The recipe goes like this:

1 14-ounce can of Ocean Spray Jellied cranberry sauce
1 12-ounce bottle of Heinz Chili sauce
1 2-pound bag of frozen, pre-cooked cocktail-size meatballs

Combine sauces in a large saucepan. Cook over medium-low heat, stirring until smooth. Add meatballs. Cover and cook for 15 minutes or until meatballs are heated through, stirring occasionally. Makes 30 appetizer servings.
Slow cooker preparation: Place meatballs in a slow cooker. Combine sauces and pour over meatballs. Cover and cook 4 hours on high.

We didn't try the slow-cooker recipe as that just took too long. This recipe is super easy and we served the meatballs with Basmati rice and the whole family LOVED it.
It's delicious, the only thing I would change is cook the meatballs in a pan or oven, to give them a crunch before you put them in the sauce. I love my meatballs with a little bit of a crunchy bite.
It's a super-easy, quick and yummy recipe. Give it a try!
