What happened?
Well, I just finished picking up all the clothes and toys that Abby had unloaded in her room, then moved onto the bathroom (which is just the next room). She was playing with some dolls and cars in her room, at least that was what she was doing when I left 5 minutes earlier. When I checked on her, she was taking a bite out of a "kiss my face" sunscreen stick. One of those sticks that look like a glue stick but it's sunscreen that doesn't run in their eyes when they swim.
I have absolutely no idea how that got in her room, but there it was. I read the warnings on the back and it said to get medical help or ring a Poison Control Center. I knew she hadn't swallowed a lot, but still.
The person on the other line was very friendly and calm, looked the product up and told me to give Abby something to drink and eat. She should be fine, the worst would be an upset stomach so at least that put my mind at ease.
I'm so glad you can just ring Poison Control.

OH MAN!
Those moments are pure panic. My girls are 11 and 7 so hopefully they've learned to keep bad stuff out of their mouths. (You never know :-> )
