====================================================================
I just love to browse on Etsy looking for fun jewelry for my kids and I found the following store on Etsy: I sew cute, the owner is June. The jewelry is fantastic!
If you haven't heard of Etsy before, you really need to go and have a look. It's like a giant shopping mall with lots and lots of little stores! And the good thing about this shopping mall? Your feet don't hurt from walking miles and miles!

June, please tell us a little bit more about yourself:

I've been crafting mainly items for girls & young moms within the last month or so...I'm attracted to that type of crafting because I'm a big kid at heart & freelance as a toy designer. Seriously...I have a degree in toy design & especially love making things I know kids will play with & adore. I'm inspired by my 2 greatest creations ever...my kids.
If my girl loves one of my pieces...I make more & list them in my etsy. Her favorites are the candy sprinkles hearts & the 'boo boo kitty' necklace I did for Halloween.
I'm offering free shipping within the U.S. on all Halloween items through the end of the month & then will pull those items from the shop making room for Hanukkah & Xmas items.

Look at these amazing X-mas necklaces:

How did you come up with the name of your store?

My etsy shop name came from my love of sewing cute things...but fell in love with jewelry making before listing any doll clothes & softies!
I have a blog at www.isewcute.blogspot.com...free recipes, crafty ramblings, activities for preschoolers & product reviews of etsy items I've bought & love dearly!

You also have another store on Etsy, tell us a little more about it:

This store is a spin-off of isewcute...it's called grannystable for all the crafting I do that is inspired by my Nana who is no longer with us. The yin to my yang.
A little bit of nostal
gia, vintage, & religious gift items can be found there.

My daughter's favorite piece? And June thank you so much for having us review this item, my daughter absolutely loves it!!
There's loads of girls in Lisa's classroom that have asked where Lisa got this necklace. It looks like candy, but it isn't. The colors are great and it's just a really fun necklace!

Now time for a giveaway! June has kindly offered to give away the candy star, it's fun, colorful, just great. Any girl would love to wear this! Thank you so much June!

To enter please visit Isewcute, come back and comment on what other items you would like June to create in her store. Deadline for the giveaway: before midnight 11/21/08 PST.
This giveaway is open to all US residents, bloggers and/or non-bloggers.
The winner will be announced on my blog, so check back on the 22nd to see if you're a winner!

For one entry: Please let me know what other items you would like to see June create in her stores?
For a second entry: blog about this giveaway, mention your blog in a separate comment with a link to your blog (I will check)
For a third entry: become a follower of my blog, let me know in a separate comment.
If you're not a blogger, make sure to leave an email address so I can contact you.

Good luck to all,
Ann

I am really loving those "faux" foods like cupcakes and cookies, veggies and other "edibles". It would be cute if she could sew stuff like that.

I hate being first. First never wins. LOL!

She currently has cute sayings about knitters. It would be great if she made some more pendants that included sayings about professions: RN, hairdresser, etc. Could make great gifts

I too would love to see some cupcakes and lollipops. But since someone mentioned that already, I think some cute little bugs like bees, lady bugs, etc would look great against a background of glitter!
