a little more patience

I have lots of things to tell you from my trip to Los Angeles. I have a winner to pick for the Secrets of the Mountain giveaway and have lots of reviews/giveaways to share with you.
All has to wait a little while longer as I'm watching my friend's 2 sons and my oldest daughter is recovering at home from her procedure/operation.

Sensa update week 31

What a week it's been! We've had some medical problems with my oldest daughter but we'll be fine after next Tuesday's procedure. There's nothing worse than seeing your child in pain, I have to tell you!

Normally when I'm stressed I eat and with Sensa again this hasn't happened. Sensa's completely changed my mindset.

I'm emotionally drained with all the things that have happened and I'm looking forward to my weekend away to Los Angeles, thanks to Sensa!

My husband and myself went shopping on Sunday and got all the things I needed to take with me to Los Angeles. One extra thing to take? A big giant bruise on my right arm!

We were in a store and I had lots of tops in my hands, didn't see the poof between the post and the table and tripped. I tried to stop myself from completely falling on the ground and therefore banged my right arm on the concrete post.

Yep, it's huge, black, green and blue! Just what I need on my arm for a tv taping and photo-shoot (hopefully there's lots of make-up).

Well, I'm checking my list and will start packing soon to make sure I have all I need with me!

I'm not sure if I will have time to blog but if I do then I'll keep you posted.

I only lost 1.1 pound this week but I'm super happy with it!

The Dynamic Duo hits the bricks in LEGO Batman: The Videogame. I'm still here

I haven't been on my blog for a while but I'm still here and will be better in posting again. All kinds of things have happened and after tomorrow all will be sorted and I can focus on my blog a bit more. I will pick a Spunky Sprout winner tonight after my son's swimming practice.

50 pounds lost!!!!!!

Sensa update week 30

What a beautiful day it is today!! The sun is out, still a little chilly but I don't mind too much. I can't wait for the Summer to be here.

Well, dear readers. I have reached my first goal of 50 pounds!!!!

I started this weight loss journey in September and have lost 50 pounds, of which 38 with Sensa. I can't wait to celebrate. My husband will get back from Japan on Friday, so we'll celebrate then or this weekend.

The thing I notice the most at the moment is how flat my tummy is! I have a belt I couldn't even put on in September and now I'm on hole 4! I'm just a happier person overall!

I'm super excited to go to Los Angeles next week Thursday for my interview, photo-shoot and ShopNBC taping. I'm going shopping this weekend for some flattering clothes as I can tell you I own none of those at the moment!!

Exciting news!

I've been sitting on this news for a while now but cant wait any longer! If you've followed my blog for a while then you know I've been losing weight with using a product called Sensa. I started in September and have so far lost 48.3 pounds of which 36.3 with Sensa.

On the 22nd of April, I'm flying to Los Angeles for a Sensa photo-shoot, interview and taping for the ShopNBC show!!! When I got the news I was so nervous, but after talking to some of the girls that have already done this, I'm a little better. I'm actually also nervous for the pictures as I'm always the one that's never on the pictures! Don't like to get my photo taken.

Next Thursday and Friday (15 & 16) Sensa will be on the ShopNBC, so if you want to give it a try, check HERE for the times it's on.

I'm not sure when the taping of the 24th will go on air but I will let you all know.

Walmart and Procter & Gamble have partnered to create family-friendly TV programming, beginning with "Secrets of the Mountain", a TV movie which will debut next Friday April 16th at 8/7c on NBC. The Secrets of the Mountain DVD and soundtrack (in one bonus pack, will be sold exclusively at Walmart on the 17th of April!

I was sent a super "Secrets of the Mountain" concession tin with popcorn, the movie trailer and special "behind the scenes" footage and the movie poster (which my oldest quickly took to hang on her wall).
